Check in the Dark ()

Check in the dark, ovvero fare un check alla cieca significa, in modo analogo a bet in the dark, annunciare che si farà check (passare la parola senza effettuare alcuna puntata) per un giro di puntate successivo prima che vengano distribuite le carte o prima di aver visto la propria mano. Il giocatore dichiara che farà check, indipendentemente dalle carte che il mazziere distribuisce. Se un giocatore annuncia di fare check in the dark in una partita di Texas Hold’em di fare check prima della distribuzione del flop, intende che farà check in seguito alla distribuzione del flop a prescindere dalle carte distribuite.
