Glossario

Blockbet

Una Block-bet è una puntata relativamente esigua in relazione al piatto per limitare le possibilità di azione dell'avversario. In questo modo si vuole evitare che l'avversario effettui una puntata sostanziosa in seguito ad un check. Dopo una block-bet l'avversario può solo rilanciare e si può meglio capire se si è battuti o meno. Inoltre, una block-bet può scoraggiare l'avversario a rilanciare ulteriormente. Con l'uso di questa puntata si può, ad esempio, arrivare allo showdown in modo economico.

Con una puntata esigua ci si tutela in un certo qual modo e si evita soprattutto che il nostro avversario effettui una puntata grande in seguito ad un nostro check.
